Mark has made over 30 albums as a sideman, composer, and band leader including a JUNO-nominated recording co-led with saxophonist Mike Murley. He has played with major American jazz artists such as Art Farmer, Nat Adderley, and Jimmy Cobb ( the drummer on the famous Miles Davis album, Kind of Blue) as well as Canadian jazz musicians including Lorne Lofsky, Rob McConnell, Pat LaBarbara, Ed Bickert and Phil Nimmons.

Mark has taught workshops for many years at York University and at Mohawk College as well as teaching one-on-one in his private studio.
